We are Pete-Za
In our eleven years together, we’ve always chosen the path less traveled. We never set out to become travel-obsessed wine nerds, but after big moves, career pivots, and a year spent living in a van, life kept pulling us toward the places and people who make travel feel like coming home.
From that vanlife year to transforming an old cottage in Seattle, to hosting a three-day wedding party in the French countryside, we’ve learned one thing: lofty ambition might just be our love language. And somewhere along the way, all those adventures stopped being chapters in our story and started becoming the blueprint for what we were meant to build next.
The Travel Project is the sum of that blueprint…
It’s an expression of our lives to this point. It is a place that holds every precious thing and acts as a conduit for which we share it with the world.
Though in a more practical (and business) sense, we design authentic, curated group retreats where together we will engage with locals, meet new people and revel in the fantasy of being a resident for the week. The Travel Project is a community. A cultural exchange. A meeting of the minds. A cold glass of wine on a hot summer day. To us? It’s everything. And we hope it will be for you, too.
Iza Feyeux
Maîtresse of Hospitality, Wine Wizard, Resident Frenchie
Bonjour! I’m Iza. I’ve spent a majority of my adult life in the wine, restaurant, and hospitality industry. I was raised in a Franco-Italiano family, and as such spoiled with exceptional food and drink. I had the opportunity to spend all my summers with my family in France and though I might not have appreciated it at the time, I learned that there is something inherently beautiful about how we connect over food and drink. I learned the value of experiencing world travel from an early age.
I’ve built my life around this ethos and the endless search for deeper, more meaningful connection. I’ve seen firsthand how traveling the world can help cultivate community. These are some of the best times I’ve had. The Travel Project is the perfect amalgamation of everything I love, and I can’t wait to share the stories (and the wine) with people who want to be a part of something special.

Project Architect, Amateur Baker, Pierre of All Trades
Peter here! My introduction to world travel began the day I met Iza. Her passion for the diversity of local culture pulled me in instantly and what began as curiosity quickly became genuine fascination, and eventually, a shared obsession.
The design of a space, the layout of a city, the history behind a meal, the feeling of stepping into a life that isn’t yours but somehow feels like it could be; all of it informs the experiences we create.
I’m an architect and designer by trade, which means I spend my days thinking about how people move, feel, gather, rest, and belong within a space. The same reasons I love architecture are the same reasons that brought this entire endeavor to life.
I’m drawn to connection, to beauty, and to the small details that turn an experience into a memory. Figuring out the “how” behind an experience energizes me. I bring structure, systems, and project management.
Whether it’s building an itinerary with intentional pacing or spotting the detail that elevates something from good to unforgettable, I’m always chasing that feeling of this is exactly where we’re meant to be.
Travel like you mean it.

Travel like you mean it. 〰️
Together, we can’t wait to share beautiful pieces of the world shaped by curiosity, design, and the belief that the best trips don’t just show you a place. They let you belong there, even if only for a week.
“Outside our doors, the streets are filled with change,
with humble chants for climate and for peace.
Under our roof, no guest is turned away:
the stresses of your journey soon release.
Within our walls, an oasis remains -
of calm, of home, of timeless elegance.
Remember - no one leaves from here the same.
Remember - what you felt and why you came. “
